Volunteers are always needed – there are many roles to chose from!

Coffee/Op Shop

This is a great opportunity for fellowship and outreach to our community.  There are many roles – help in the shop, chat with visitors, sort clothes, make cakes, donate goods to sell. It’s on the first Saturday of the month, so volunteers set up on Friday afternoon from around 12.30 for Coffee/Op Shop on Saturday from 9 – 12. Usually only need to come every 3 months, unless you really enjoy it and want to do more. New volunteers are always welcome. We also appreciate cakes etc for our cake stall. Contact: Jenny Nairn.

Work with Young People

We would welcome your offer to work with young people. You will need to contact Adam our Children and Family worker if you would like to work with young people. You will need to complete training for safe child working.  You could take part in various programs, including:

Kids at Church (K@ch):  It’s great to see so many kids coming, but more help is needed. Kids@Church runs from 10-11am on Sundays during term time. If you would like to help as teacher or assistant, contact Helen Holloway.

Weetangera Primary School SUPA club: Volunteers are needed for the program, which will be one or two RE assemblies each term, followed up by a weekly lunchtime club on Tuesdays. New volunteers are needed to lead small groups or just to support teachers with craft and other activities. If you are able to help, please contact Rev Dr Chris Simon.

Pastoral Care

Help support and care for others in their time of need. Contact Jenny Nairn.

Worship Support

Help with the smooth running of church services in many ways, including welcoming worshippers, reading lessons, arranging flowers, cleaning, playing music and many more. Volunteers are always welcome. Contact Rev Dr Chris Simon.

Garden Gurus

New members always welcome to join our regular working bee on the first Saturday morning of each month to keep our gardens and grounds blooming. Contact Graeme Mayo.
